So I suspect Microsoft just wants to force people to use their Outlook app - but I like Mail better, thank you very much. Still, Microsoft, if you're reading this, don't you think it's kind of stupid? If I weren't using this device frequently why in the world would I add my Outlook account info to the Mail app?! The problem does not seem to happen with the OneDrive app or the Microsoft Word app. I've only just tried it so will see over the next few days if I still get signed out.
But if you're using two devices to do this, you might need to enter the code. page in your browser and it should automatically refresh. You will be prompted to go to the Authenticator: it will generate a code, but I didn't have to use it.Go to /6016pGSFn and sign in with your Outlook account.
The proposed fix is to authenticate the device (you must have the Microsoft Authenticator app installed on your iphone). They claim this is due to the fact that a given device is not 'registered'. He wants to use outlook at the internet instead, and now cant log out. I have looked at Twitter feeds and Microsoft responses. He logged in to the Outlook-app in windows.
